About us

MAMADE LTD is a UK-based online retail business operating the MaberLondon brand. We sell handbags and related products through online channels, including our own digital presence and marketplace platforms such as Amazon.

We are looking for an E-commerce Web & UX Designer to help improve our online customer experience, product presentation, website pages and marketplace content as the business continues to grow.

About the role

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both design and e-commerce. You will work on improving how our products are presented online, how customers move through our website, and how our digital pages and listings support sales.

The role will involve website design, user experience improvements, product page optimisation, mobile-first layouts, catalogue pages, marketplace content and conversion-focused design improvements.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and improve e-commerce website pages, including product pages, landing pages and collection pages.
  • Improve customer journeys across the website, including navigation, mobile experience and product discovery.
  • Create wireframes, page layouts and design improvements for customer-facing web pages.
  • Improve the design and presentation of product information, images and online content.
  • Support the development of B2B catalogue pages and retailer-facing digital content.
  • Help optimise Amazon and marketplace product listings, including layout, product content, images and presentation.
  • Review website and marketplace performance to identify design and user-experience improvements.
  • Prepare digital assets and page layouts consistent with the MaberLondon brand.
  • Work closely with the Director and provide regular updates on tasks, priorities and project progress.

Skills and experience required

We are looking for someone with experience in:

  • Web design and e-commerce website design.
  • UX design and customer journey improvement.
  • Mobile-first page design.
  • Product page optimisation.
  • Website layout design and digital design tools.
  • CMS or e-commerce platforms.
  • Amazon Seller Central or marketplace product listing optimisation.
  • Conversion-focused design and digital product presentation.

Desirable experience

Experience with any of the following would be useful:

  • Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce or similar platforms.
  • Amazon product listing optimisation.
  • Digital catalogue or wholesale page design.
  • Product image optimisation.
  • Working with a small online retail or e-commerce business.

Person specification

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, commercially aware and comfortable working independently. They should be able to combine good design judgment with an understanding of online retail, customer journeys and product presentation.
